ASSURART is a single window where visual artists can obtain all the insurance protections they need. You will find coverage designed specifically to protect your studio, tools, equipment, artworks in transportation, commissioned work (1% policy), automobile or residence.

Visual artists members of the Regroupement des artistes en arts visuels (RAAV) are eligible to a 15%* group discount for their studio, home and auto insurance.

STUDIO INSURANCE

• From $10,000 to $100,000 coverage for equipment, tools and artwork
• From $10,000 to $50,000 coverage for artwork in transit and while at exhibitions
• $2M, $3M, $5M general liability limits available

Optional coverage for:

• Sales activities
• Training activities
• Equipment breakdown

COMMISSIONED WORK INSURANCE (1%)

• Covers work in progress where ever it is located: studio, workshop, etc. and while in transit
• Covers up to the total value of the completed artwork, such as it appears on the contract
• Covers the artist’s liability resulting from ownership, manufacturing and installation

PROTECTIONS AVAILABLE À LA CARTE

• Art objects in transit, in or outside Canada
• General liability at exhibits
• Art objects entrusted for restoration
